Salina Area United Way Announces "A Night of Chance: All In for Change" as 2026 Signature Fundraiser
SALINA, KS — Get ready to roll the dice for a great cause! Salina Area United Way is thrilled to introduce A Night of Chance: All In for Change, an unforgettable casino-themed experience that will serve as the organization's signature fundraising event for 2026. This year, the organization is trading its annual Mistletoe Melodies celebration for a fresh, exciting evening filled with fun, friendly competition, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact in our community.
The event will take place on Friday, August 7, 2026, offering guests a unique night out complete with casino-style gaming, delicious food, refreshing drinks, exciting prizes and raffles, and entertainment. Whether you're planning a memorable date night, gathering your friends for an evening on the town, or looking for a fun way to give back, A Night of Chance promises an experience unlike any other.
While guests enjoy an exciting evening, every ticket purchased and every sponsorship secured will help build Salina Area United Way's Emergency Relief Fund, providing hope and stability for individuals and families facing unexpected financial hardships throughout North Central Kansas.
The Emergency Relief Fund is being established to provide short-term financial assistance to individuals and families experiencing unforeseen crises. Whether helping someone avoid eviction, keep utilities connected, access transportation to work, or overcome another financial emergency, the fund is designed to bridge critical gaps when no other resources are available.
Rather than duplicating services already offered in our community, Salina Area United Way created the Emergency Relief Fund to work alongside local nonprofits, agencies, and community partners. The fund is intended to complement existing assistance programs by providing support when other funding sources have been exhausted, when an individual does not meet another program's eligibility requirements, or when additional resources are needed to help someone achieve long-term stability. By partnering with organizations already serving those in need, Salina Area United Way can help ensure fewer individuals and families fall through the cracks.

Proceeds will support our new Emergency Relief Fund, which is designed to stand alongside the incredible work already being done by local organizations—not replace it. Together, we can help ensure our neighbors have somewhere to turn when unexpected hardships arise."
