Mistletoe Melodies: A Resounding Success

Mistletoe Melodies: A Resounding Success Thanks to Our Community and Sponsors

The Salina Area United Way is thrilled to announce the resounding success of our 4th annual Christmas event, Mistletoe Melodies Featuring HiFi Dueling Pianos, held on Friday, December 6th at Tumblweed LLC. With over 400 attendees, the enchanting evening brought together music, laughter, and holiday cheer in support of our 2024-2025 Campaign. Together, we raised an incredible $70,000 to benefit our community.

Guests enjoyed a festive atmosphere filled with the sounds of HiFi Dueling Pianos and a special dinner performance by the local band, Everyday Lights. A delicious dinner and dessert catered by YaYa’s added to the night’s charm, along with engaging activities including photo opportunities with Salina Selfie Station, silent and live auctions, a 50-50 raffle, wine and whiskey pulls, and more. This year’s event raised significant funds that will directly support the Salina Area United Way’s programs, their 13 Funded Partners and seven Childcare Partners, strengthening programs that make a lasting impact in our community.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the incredible individuals and organizations who made this event possible:

  • Our Volunteers: A special thank-you to our family members, friends, Board Members, Funded Partners, and Early Childcare Partners who gave their time and energy to help bring this event to life.

  • Auction Donors: We are deeply grateful to everyone who generously contributed items to our live and silent auction, adding excitement and value to the evening.

  • Sponsors: We are profoundly thankful to our generous sponsors who made this event possible. Your support ensures the success of our mission and creates lasting change in our community.

“Mistletoe Melodies was a tremendous success, and it wouldn't have been possible without all of the businesses and individuals who sponsored, donated, volunteered, and attended,” said Christina Small, Executive Director. “We are incredibly grateful for the continued support from our community—support that allows us to further our mission to Strengthen Our Community. The funds raised at this event will directly benefit our community, including our 13 Funded Partners, 7 Early Childcare Partners, and the families and individuals they serve. Our work would not be possible without the unwavering support and incredible generosity of our community—thank you for making a lasting impact!”

We look forward to continuing this festive tradition in the years to come and invite everyone to join us in future events and initiatives that strengthen our community.
